These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) explain what it means to become an Affiliate Organisation (AO) with Vets Beyond Borders (VBB). By applying or using VBB resources, you agree to these Terms. VBB may update these Terms from time to time, with changes taking effect immediately when posted.
- Eligibility and Application
To become a VBB Affiliate Organisation, your organisation must:
- Be a not-for-profit.
- Have a philosophy and approach to animal welfare that aligns with VBB’s values.
- Be overseen by veterinary professionals.
- Benefit from VBB resources such as the online forum and library.
- Be based in, and operate within, the Asia Pacific region.
Please note: Applying does not guarantee approval. VBB reserves the right to accept or decline any application, and AO status can be revoked at any time.
Fees: Registration as an AO is free of charge.
- Our Role (VBB)
As your partner, VBB will:
- Keep your information confidential.
- Provide guidance from experienced veterinary and administrative staff.
- Give access to relevant resources, including the AO online forum and library.
- Your Role (Affiliate Organisation)
As an AO, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when registering.
- Use VBB resources responsibly and in line with these Terms.
- Not misrepresent your organisation or relationship with VBB.
- Seek written consent before publicly representing yourself as a VBB AO.
- Using VBB Online Resources
When using the VBB Website or online platforms:
- All information is protected under privacy laws.
- Use the site at your own risk—VBB cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or virus-free.
- Do not interfere with the Website, collect personal data about other users without consent, or violate any applicable laws.
- External links are for convenience only—VBB does not endorse these sites.
- Intellectual Property
All content on the Website or provided as a resource is owned by VBB or its licensors.
- No Intellectual Property Rights are transferred to you.
- You may only use resources as authorised by VBB.
- Privacy and Public Information
- Participation as an AO does not imply endorsement or public promotion.
- Liability
- VBB is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur as a result of being an AO or using VBB resources.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VBB, its staff, and agents against any claims arising from your activities as an AO.
- Notices
- VBB may provide notices via the Website or email.
- Notices are considered received when sent or posted to the email address you provide.
- Legal
- These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
- AOs agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
By applying as an Affiliate Organisation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
