VBB and AWL partnership helping to supply our Cook Islands Partner – Te Are Manu Veterinary Clinic

Sometimes the planets just align, the ducks waddle into a row and all the things fall into place. And when this happens, the result is that VBB has the opportunity to further support our partner organisations. This is particularly welcome at a time when travel restrictions have restricted our volunteer deployments.

When Animal Welfare League NSW found themselves in possession of enough generous donations of veterinary supplies to pack an entire cattery, floor to ceiling, VBB jumped on this perfect opportunity to kick-start the new partnership. Our volunteers helped sort through and pick out some supplies that would benefit VBB projects, which has the added benefit of clearing some of the boxes from the cattery. Two shipments of donations were sent to Rarotonga, Cook Islands to further equip the stray dog and cat sterilisation program held by VBB Partner, Te Are Manu Vet Clinic. Huge thanks to the dedicated volunteers who did the sorting, as well as those over the ditch who received and unpacked them.
