Clinical work in Nadi with outreach campaigns to remote locations

Animals Fiji headquarters is based in Nadi. They have 4 veterinary clinics (Nadi, Savusavu, Lautoka and Labasa) and also operate frequent outreach campaigns covering the Northern and Western regions of the Fiji Islands.

Outreach campaigns are vital in providing primary veterinary care and desexing services to remote communities/islands who do not have access to veterinary services for their pets.

Volunteers veterinarians will be required to travel to Suva to register to practice as a veterinarian in Fiji. Our partner will assist with the arrangements.

Mobile outreach work to remote Taveuni villages

Taveuni Animal Lovers runs mobile clinics offering free desexing, veterinary care and education to local communities on the island. These outreach programs run for 2 weeks, every 3 months and consists of a small experienced team of 1 vet and 1 vet nurse.

Volunteers veterinarians will be required to travel to Suva to register to practice as a veterinarian in Fiji. This will need to be completed prior to arriving in Taveuni. VBB recommends pairing this trip with additional volunteering at one of our other Fiji Islands partners!
