Year-round placements for volunteer vets and vet nurses!

Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society is a charity based in the capital of Cambodia aimed at improving domestic animal welfare in the country. Over the years they have grown to provide:

  • Veterinary care  for owned animals in established clinics in Phnom Penh and Kampot
  • Outreach programs to help support monks in pagodas look after stray and abandoned animals
  • Spey/neuter campaigns for stray animals
  • Rehoming of stray animals from their small shelter

PPAWS welcomes veterinarians and veterinary nurses to volunteer all year round. Specific dates are set for campaigns, i.e. World Rabies Day.
