Clinics who are selected to receive VBB's wildlife emergency response benefits package will need to abide by the following conditions. By ticking the box, you are acknowledging that you understand and accept these conditions.

VBB will not provide any veterinary equipment, consumables, or drugs with the tranquiliser rifle, and the clinic is repsonsible for sourcing and maintaining adequate levels of in-date stock in order to utilise the rifle in times of an emergency

Clinics agree to register their veterinary staff to the VBB AVERT database and endeavour to assist VBB and emergency response officials in times of an emergency.

VBB will provide an approved rifle storage unit. The clinic will be responsible for the storage of the rifle at all times. This will include meeting ongoing reporting requirements, and maintaining relevant permits for the storage, ownership, and use of the rifle.

The persons listed in this application is a registered veterinarian OR accredited veterinary nurse OR final year veterinary student and they are eligible to work in Australia

This package involves a practical component and persons who have applied for the Taronga wildlife training will make all reasonable efforts to attend the practical workshop on the date that they are allocated; persons attending the workshops must also be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Vets Beyond Borders and their sponsors may photograph me on the practical training session days and that this material may be used by VBB and their sponsors for promotional purposes

The clinic will endeavour to provide at least 1 case study every 3-4 months via the VBB forum (this includes photographs for re-sharing purposes by VBB, to help promote the benefits of this training opportunity for future cohorts).

Persons listed in this application may have their personal information provided to WWF so that WWF can administer and audit the VBB-WWF ‘Wildlife Care Everywhere’ Project and to identify further opportunities to provide wildlife care in the future.
